Synopsis:

Mordru and Doctor Fate face one another, and although the JSA and the Reserves are ready and willing to aid him, Doctor Fate realizes that this is his fight, and his fight alone. He shows Mordru his fate - to battle heroes inspired by those he fights today, yet a millennium in the future - and with the help of Shazam, he imprisons Mordru within the Rock of Eternity. And in the Himalayas, Kobra's hidden sanctuary is invaded by Atom Smasher, Black Adam, Brainwave and Northwind, who wish to act more directly than the JSA ever do: Kobra is killed, his heart ripped out by Black Adam.
