HISTORY

Greek-Armenian Soseh Mykros and her sister Ellina were trained by their father Anatol to succeed him as head of the international criminal organization the Council. Physically, they were able to instantly learn any fighting technique which they encountered, as well as being driven to the peak in strength, endurance and agility. However, Soseh wanted nothing to do with the criminal nature of the Council and decided to strike back against them. In doing so, assisted by the women of the JSA, she hoped to rescue her sister from her father's clutches. However, she was to learn that her sister did not want to be rescued, and was forced to kill her in combat in order to destroy a key Council facility.

Soseh then dedicated her life to thwarting the Council at every turn, generally alone, though sometimes with the support of members of the Justice Society, whom she also assisted on occasion as a member of the reserves. In time, she came to the notice of Black Adam, who crushed the Council for her and recruited her onto his team of proactive warriors, liberating the nation of Kahndaq from its oppressors. In a subsequent fray with the JSA, who did not approve of this action, Nemesis was killed by Eclipso. A statue to her memory has been erected in the nation's capital.
