OVERVIEW
Hades was the Greek god of death and ruler of the underworld bearing his name. For about 3,000 years, the Greek and Roman versions of the Olympians (including Zeus/Jupiter) were separate entities. They were only recently merged again. Hades recently died at the hands of Ares, god of war.
