Synopsis:

On Man's world the Bana-Mighdall warrior women free the three Themyscirans held captive by the army to only to make them prisoner again. They leave survivors to implicate the Themyscirans. General Yedziniak places Steve Trevor under arrest and interrogates him. Wonder Woman asks Ed Indelicato, who has been suspended from the police force, for help.

Meanwhile, on Paradise Island, Pythia dons Diana's winged sandals so that she may cross into Man's World to search for the missing Julia Kapatelis. As she passes through chaos she sees Mercury and Hermes locked in battle. The gods have returned to the mortal plane. They send Herakles in exchange for taking Diana to New Olympus. When Themyscira is rocked by quakes the hero rushes to Doom's Doorway. he finds Atlas supporting the island above the pit. The fate of Paradise Island rests on Atlas' shoulders. Atlas senses that neither he nor Herakles is who the other believes. when Atlas suddenly collapses Herakles takes his place supporting the island.
