HISTORY

The champion of Lorcus Prime, Singularity became redundant when the society he protected reached utopia. He was left on a barren planetoid where a virtual reproduction of his motherworld kept him deluded. Clouds of nanites sprayed everywhere in the atmosphere played on his senses the illusion of life among his former people. When the lost Legion of Super-Heroes landed on this planet in 3000 A.D., they broke the illusion and revealed to Singularity how vain his existence was. He fled into outer-space filled with rage and confusion as the Legionnaires went back to their search of the way home.

Later, when Saturn Girl, Spark and Invisible Kid returned to a Kwai encampment, they encountered a militia of fanatics seeking revenge on the Progeny. These commandos were recruiting for their crusade and claimed to be members of the Credo, an army whose sole purpose was the extermination of the Progeny. Their leader was a former super-hero who had lost his purpose: Singularity.
