OVERVIEW

:It is said he comes from "a barbaric world," though any other circumstances of Rigen Kale's recruitment into the Sinestro Corps have yet to be revealed. At some point as a ring wielder, Kale met and formed a close relationship with Jezra, a fellow member of the Corps. Jezra was killed during a battle with a species of space-folding insectoids known as Tarkarian Burrowers. Rigen Kale tried to rescue her but both their rings exploded, with fragments driving deep into his flesh.

Due to her death, Jezra's fragmented ring still seeks a suitable replacement, drawing Rigen Kale on the search. Despite their selection for the Sinestro Corps, Kale rips apart any of the would-be ring wielders, as seen in the death of Craxxel of Pyria.
