HISTORY

Detonated after the Alien Alliance had left Earth, the Dominator-created meta-gene bomb struck down virtually all super-humans who derived their powers from sources other than technology, magic or alien physiology. Earth's heroes and the Omega Men were able to secure an antidote from the Dominion homeworld, but too late for Scott Fischer of the Doom Patrol.

Ironically, the meta-gene bomb had an unexpected result. It created a slew of super-humans (though many villains) including the Atomic Skull, Blockbuster, Mayfly, Shard II, Krater and heroes Crazy Jane and Josiah Power.
