HISTORY
Maxie Zeus was one of Gotham City's craziest gang leaders. He believed he was the son of Zeus, and committed a number of mythology themed robberies. Many people worshiped him and his daughter Medea. After constant fights with Batman, Zeus left Gotham, and founded the New Olympians in Los Angeles. They were captured by the Outsiders, and Zeus returned to Gotham. Maxie Zeus was later approached by Phobos and Deimos, Ares' two sons. They asked him to set up a base of operations in Gotham for Ares' return. After capturing Poison Ivy, Scarecrow and the Joker, these villains were empowered with prayers and battled Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. During the battle, Maxie was slain by Phobos as a human sacrifice to Ares.
