HISTORY

Jill Chase is a criminal currently active in Gotham City, with unidentified past links to crime in Russia and China.

Jill was involved in a scheme planned by the Penguin during which he intended to put his competitors out of business and steal their money. To this end, Jill interrupted a deal between Boris Gorky and Axel Bellany, stealing a suitcase full of cash, hitting Gorky in the eye with a throwing star, and killing two of his men. Although pursued by Batman, Chase escaped to a get-away boat and met up with Mr. Mosaic, where they exchanged the money for a VIP pass to the Iceberg Casino.

Sometime before arriving at the Iceberg, Jill killed Raju, an employee of Penguin's, at the Abbot Transient Motel. She also dealt with weapons smuggler Nicolas Pog, leaving his body in pieces in his workshop, stealing a large amount of C-4.

After meeting up with Snakeskin, Chase went to the Iceberg Casino for the final part of Penguin's plan. She staged a break-in at the vaults in order to draw several of Cobblepot's 'allies', including Mr. Combustible and Hypnotic, into a trap. Jill detonated the room full of C-4, but it is later revealed that everyone present made it out alive. Although Penguin agrees to hold up his end of the deal regarding Mayor Hady's campaign fund, Jill is ultimately double crossed when he tries to have her killed. Batman saves her from death and takes her into custody. While in prison, she is visited by Snakeskin, disguised as her lawyer, who arrives on Penguin's orders to finish her off. Her current status is unknown.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Jill Chase's hand tech

She is proficient in a variety of martial arts, including Jiu-jitsu, and was noted by Batman to be able to 'move without making a sound'. Jill has been known to use throwing stars, often hitting her victim's left eye.

She also appears to have some kind of cybernetic implant in her right hand, which can be seen when she is not wearing her glove. The tech in her hand is how Jill was able to open the Penguin's vaults in the Iceberg Lounge.
