Synopsis:
In the present day, Black Adam agrees to join several other powerful villains to form a new 'Society'. Meanwhile, in 1951, the members of the present Justice Society continue with their attempts to recruit the former JSA members to help them fight Per Degaton. Doctor Mid-Nite is easy to persuade and Hourman is already pursuing Degaton, but for others, the task is more complicated. Al Pratt (Atom) is being blackmailed into bringing Hawkman and Hawkgirl to HUAC, while Terry Sloane (Mister Terrific) discovers that he has a niece and is determined to raise her. Stargirl is rescues from her bonds and the modern Mister Terrific finds himself confronted by the KKK.
