OVERVIEW
A genius, a fine athlete and a leading businessman, Terry Sloane was still unfulfilled and made up his mind to kill himself. However, when he went to commit the deed, he ended up saving a woman's life instead, and became a costumed mystery man in order to rescue her brother from a life of crime. He was a hero of the people and for the people, involving himself directly in people's lives, yet he also (eventually) found time to join the Justice Society. Years after the great wars, he retired as a hero to become an English teacher, using others of his gifts for good. It was while still retired that he was killed by an old enemy, the Spirit King.
