Synopsis: - The Atom calls on his JLA colleagues for help when it is discovered that the cause of a child's brain tumor is an advanced civilization of microbiological beings. They accompany him into the child's brain at microscopic size, finding that their powers are less effective there, and attempt to convince the civilization's rulers that they must alter their ways or face destruction (via a surgical laser). They are unable to convince any, save for one council member widely regarded as mad, and although the city is evacuated, the beings perish when the boy's immune system kicks back in, unable to adapt to a new life. The only survivor is a splice from council member Jom-Ft and his pair Li-Tam, who is sent to the liver, where he will have fantastic powers due to the different environment.
