- The cause of the disturbances at the prison is revealed to be a Mageddon probe which has attached itself to telepath Hector Hammond and which is destroyed by Orion. The watchtower intruder is Mister Miracle of the New Gods sent to warn the JLA of Mageddon's imminent approach. Meanwhile Lex Luthor organizes a new Injustice Gang, including Prometheus, the General and the Queen Bee.
