The League infiltrates the criminal country of Bialya! Booster Gold and Blue Beetle are held captive by Bialyan leader Rumaan Harjavti, leading Extreme Justice and the Justice League Task Force to return to Bialya to combat their old nemesis, the Queen Bee. But this time, the Queen Bee has brought in reinforcements: the Extremists, some the deadliest foes the League has ever faced!

Synopsis:

Colonel Rumaan Harjavti has turned the nation of Bialya into a holiday spot for crooks, with money laundering facilities thrown in. Batman is furious, as the League can do nothing - they can't invade a sovereign country. Booster and Beetle disguise themselves as Bloodspot and Deathmetal and sneak into Bialya, trying to carry out a robbery to bring Bialya down, but they are discovered and arrested. Batman then tries a different tack; he arranges for large amounts of cash to be transferred from the vacationing villains' accounts to Harjavti's own, starting riots so bad that he releases Booster and Beetle and calls in the League for assistance, who are soon able to round up the villains. Booster and Beetle's little escapade caused a temporary cash-flow problem for the League and are put on janitor duties. As they clean the bathrooms, Booster has a wonderful idea, but Beetle refuses to listen...

Comment(s):

This story takes place at some point between the last issues of the three Justice League titles (Extreme Justice, Justice League America and Justice League Task Force) and JLA Secret Files #1 in Justice League continuity.

Synopsis:

Extreme Justice invades Bialya, where the current ruler has created an army of cyborgs to do her bidding. Media reaction is mixed, as America greatly fears Bialya, and the U.N. requests that all three versions of the League disband.

In Gotham, Batman meets Superman and the two agree that they will both be a part of whatever new League arises from the very beginning to provide vision and a focus.
