- Vibe! Steel! Gypsy! It’s the rise and fall of the Motor City Justice League, as Aquaman relocates the JLA from a satellite in the sky to Detroit to bring them closer to the people they serve. But as soon as they arrive, they find themselves embroiled in the greatest disaster ever.
Synopsis:
Aquaman leaves the League, only a few weeks after he drastically altered its make-up, and the surviving old-timers wonder if there is a League any more. The League is then called in to a crisis in New York, where they and numerous other heroes encounter a huge metallic monolith and destructive shadow beings. They are then summoned elsewhere by Harbinger, who tells them of the Anti-Monitors plan to destroy the universe by bleeding all time eras into each other. The younger members of the League try to keep the Monitor's machine (which should stem this) safe while dealing with the converging time streams - Gypsy runs off in the midst of battle, feeling there's nothing she can do. But she is met by her older self, who tells her what she should do. Gypsy tells Vibe to augment the vibrations of the machine, which he does, bringing it (and all the others in other eras) up to full capacity and halting the immediate danger. There is still much to do, but the new members of the League are beginning to prove themselves.
