Synopsis: - Batman tries to track down the whereabouts of Charlatan and Two-Face, deducing that they will be in the place where he first encountered Sloan. He learns from Scarecrow that after Two-Face tortured Sloan, Scarecrow took him and experimented on him, removing any possibility of Sloan feeling fear - Sloan eventually escaped him by jumping from a high window, totally unafraid of the consequences. The Penguin is beginning to chafe at being in tight protective custody having survived Charlatan's attack, but when Batman catches up with Sloan and Two-Face he discovers that the protection was not necessary. Sloan deliberately left all of the villains alive, and kidnapped Two-Face with the sole aim of completing the job he was originally hired for - to kill Batman. In the ensuing fracas, Two-Face escapes, but Sloan is captured and incarcerated in Arkham Asylum.
