Synopsis: - The source of the sudden increase in metagene activation has been discovered: genetically engineered mosquitoes, originally used by the Queen Bee of Bialya, who must be the source of this attack. Zod and his minions from Pokolistan attack Bialya, wanting to end their terrorism, and S.T.A.R. Labs discover that the way to end the problem is to temporarily turn the sun red. Zod, who reveals to Superman that they are identical, sets off with Superman to activate the device around the sun, but only the charred body of one of them makes its way back to Earth.
