HISTORY

The girl named Molly was originally born on Apokolips and meant to become a member of the Female Furies. Fleeing from Darkseid's minions, the young girl found a new home on Earth and in medieval Europe. Gifted with the power to resurrect the dead, Molly grew up in the times of the Black Plague, and used her power frequently. She eventually performed so many "miracles" that it exhausted her, and when Molly found her sister Jane's corpse, she no longer had the power to revive her.

Cursing God for this, Molly became the being now known as Twilight, who wandered the Earth for centuries with the agenda to get revenge on God. Twilight has been a recurring foe of Supergirl. She was a one-time leader of the robotic Extremists of Angor, and has allied herself with the demonic Buzz as well as the mysterious Mother of Demons.
