HISTORY

Contrary to popular belief, the Trident is not one super-villain, but three. The Tridents were formerly operatives of the criminal H.I.V.E., who, after the destruction of the organization, found a new means to commit crimes. One of the three, a man called "Prof", designed three powerful "power tridents" and three colorful costumes worn by him and his friends Sammy Jaye and one other whose name is still unknown. Sammy was killed by his two partners when he tried to withhold their shares of the loot, but Prof. and the third Trident still resurface from time to time.
