HISTORY
James Jesse was the stage name of Giovanni Giuseppe, a trapeze artist with a fear of heights who developed a pair of 'air walker shoes' which allowed him to perform his stunts safely. Eventually he decided to go for an even more lucrative career and turned to crime, crossing paths with the Flash on numerous occasions, employing numerous ridiculous gadgets in his crimes. After an encounter with the devil, Neron, which meant that the fell fiend would be after his soul, James went straight and has assisted the current Flash in various ways, though he could never be regarded as a hero.
