Comment(s):

This story re-introduces Project Cadmus, the new Newsboy Legion and other elements from Jack Kirby's run on Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen into the post-Crisis DC Universe. While the original Newboy Legion's Golden Age appearances are still in continuity, the entire Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen run is no longer considered part of continuity.

As later revealed in Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen Special #1, this is at least the second clone of the Guardian, the first having left the Project, and that further Guardian clones all die after a few years and are replaced; for the sake of simplicity, this and all future Guardians will be treated as a single character.
