Synopsis: - WGBS reporter Cat Grant runs through her biography of Lex Luthor which is to be presented when the news of his election become official. It tells of how he came to greatness from the most humble beginnings in the section of Metropolis known as Suicide Slum. As a child he was friends with Perry White, to whom he would later sell the Daily Planet newspaper for the sum of one dollar. It tells of how, after his parents were tragically killed, he travelled the world whilst working on the Lexwing, and how, with the proceeds of this aeronautical invention, he founded LexCorp and built the tremendous LexCorp tower. It tells of how he was blamed for the destruction of Metropolis, and of how he was vindicated of this crime when it was discovered to have been the work of an evil clone. It tells how he aided Superman against the futuristic terrorist Brainiac-13, and of how, the same night, he lost his daughter. It tells of his contribution to the rebuilding of Gotham City, and of how he is going to make a marvelous president.
- However, Lex Luthor is not entirely happy with it, wanting WGBS to remove all mention of the business with the 'evil clone', not wanting to remind the American people of such an unpleasant business. And they have less than a minute to make the changes before going on air.

As he begins to make his notes, the Daily Planet editor, Perry White, emerges from his office to announce to his staff that Luthor has been declared the winner of the presidential election, and like it or not, the paper must cover this as best it can.

- Superman
- Clark Ross (Lana's son)
Synopsis: - Superman visits Lana Lang to ask her how she could have allowed her husband, Pete Ross, to be Luthor's running mate. After all, Lex kidnapped and tortured her many years ago. However, she has never told her husband about this, as it could reveal Clark's secret to him, plus she hopes that having a good man alongside Luthor in the White House will prevent anything too awful from happening. After Superman leaves, she also expresses the secret hope that perhaps something will happen to Luthor and that her husband will then become president - 'and everyone will be happy'.
