This story may or may not b in continuity. It reveals Jor-El had been lethally irradiated during a trip to Krypton's core, and upon returning to the surface, had also irradiated Lara, but the radiation wore off before they returned to Kal-El. Further, they are spared immediate death from Krypton's destruction by the never-before documented intervention of Dr. Krylo who sends them from Krypton in suspended animation.
