HISTORY
Smallville is the small town in Kansas where Clark Kent (a.k.a. Superman) grew up, as well as his friends Lana Lang and Pete Ross. Clark's foster mother Martha Kent, still lives in Smallville while her husband Jonathan was buried there after an attack by the alien conqueror Brainiac.
Smallville has had its share of alien encounters, among them the infiltration of the Manhunters, deadly alien androids who made virtually every baby born in Smallville into sleeper agents, watching young Clark Kent's growth into an adult Superman.
Smallville is the home of the current Superboy.
