HISTORY

Fascinated by the extraordinary number of bizarre experiments resulting in super-powered beings in Gotham City in the past years, the would be conqueror called Kobra attempted to recreate some of these to form a team of super-powered mercenaries. The result was Strike Force Kobra, whose members - Clayface (IV), Elemental Woman, Planet Master (II), Spectrumonster, and Zebra-Man (II) - were all modeled after one-time foes of the Batman. Sent in by Kobra to usurp the facilities of Stagg Enterprises, the Strike Force was defeated by the Outsiders (II) and Spectrumonster was destroyed.

Some time later, Kobra reformed the Strike Force, this time with existing super-villains such as Syonide II and Fauna Faust. This team had no better luck when facing the Outsiders, Syonide being a casualty of the clash.
