Synopsis:

Many people: heroes, police and civilians, gather for Ted Knight's memorial; many of them recount how they remember him, as a great man, a hero or a friend. One of them, acting commissioner Clarence O'Dare, has faced a more personal loss: his brother Barry turned traitor and was killed in a shootout, and another brother, Matt, died later in hospital. On his death bed, he saw visions of his past as Western hero Scalphunter and of the future as a man named Tom, or possibly Danny, who Jack Knight identifies as Thom Kallor/Danny Blaine, a future Starman. Matt dies knowing that he will become not merely a hero of Earth, but of many worlds.
After the memorial, Jack thanks the heroes from around the world and beyond who helped him and Opal City during the recent days. Both Elongated Man and Black Condor say that they'll stay in Opal City, liking it there. And Jack is relieved, feeling somewhat less alone. Mikaal Tomas, Starman of the 1970s, lives in Opal anyway, of course, and wonders with Jack how Jack is going to care for his newly discovered son.
Elsewhere, Sadie (Jack's girlfriend) meets Will Payton, her brother, and discusses his strange life as two different Starmen with him. She also reveals that she is pregnant with Jack's child. Later that day, Jack returns home, to discover that Sadie has left him, afraid to bring a child into his dangerous world. All alone with his child, the reality of his loss suddenly hits him and he breaks down in tears.
