HISTORY

The Sky Pirate was a modern-day, air-born pirate in the late 1940s. He had an airship called the Flying Dutchman, from which he plundered penthouse apartments of rich aristocrats of Gotham City, and used modified classic "pirate weapons" like sabres and flintlock pistols.

Later, the villain attempted to steal the secrets of an antigravity metal in the Himalayas. On both occasions, the Sky Pirate was stopped by Green Lantern (Alan Scott). Later, the Sky Pirate was transported back in time by Per Degaton and joined his cadre of time-lost super-villains who battled the All-Star Squadron in 1941.
