HISTORY
A prison psychiatrist based in Gotham City who primarily worked at Arkham Asylum, though he also practiced occasionally at Blackgate Penitentiary. His views were somewhat unconventional, and he published a book called "I'm Sane and So Are You", which asked for understanding for the criminally insane. When Arkham's inmates were released en masse by Bane, Dr. Flanders appeared on numerous talk shows to promote his unorthodox message until held hostage live on air by the Riddler, an event which made him reconsider his thoughts to a certain extent. Soon after this, he was used as an unwitting pawn by Cypher, aiding him and a group of other criminals to escape Blackgate. He continued to work in Gotham for some time after this, and finally met a grisly end, eaten by Killer Croc.
