- This chapter tells the origins of Doctor Mist and his influence on mystical events of the last 7000 years. It is possible that the city he founds for the Homo Magi is the same city as the Secret City of The Seven.
- Cagliostro's and Nommo's influences on the founders of the United States may have been seen through their creation of the American Talisman, the artifact that created Uncle Sam.
- Sargon's Ruby of Life was one of the jewels created by Nommo to mystically power normal Homo Sapiens.
