OVERVIEW

Taking his (or her, because Wotan has been both male and female) name from the Norse god, Wotan is a millennia-old sorcerer who has battled Nabu/Doctor Fate in several eras. He has also encountered the Spectre, the Shining Knight, Zatanna, the JSA, and the JLA, Wotan's main goal was to conquer the world, utilising both sorcery and advanced technology to achieve it. Following a clash with Doctor Fate III (Linda Strauss), Wotan saw the light of God and reformed. He currently lives in a monastery.
