OVERVIEW

Screaming Skull was a villain that opposed the original Flash (Jay Garrick) and Quicksilver (later Max Mercury) in the late 1940s. The Flash saved Max from the Skull's clutches, and Flash later called that favor in and forced Max to get out of retirement when the menace of Professor Zoom had returned.
