OVERVIEW

A female, bodiless entity who 'possesses' innocent victims and makes them commit her evil deeds.

HISTORY

Ages ago, Wanda Lee, founder of the town of Leesburg, drank from the Chaos Stream and bonded with the Rider, gaining mental powers and immortality in the process. An encounter with the Earth Angel Ember ended with Wanda slipping into a coma and the Rider roaming the Earth in search for an appropriate host. She found one in Mitch Shelley, the Resurrection Man.

Possessing Mitch's powerful body, the Rider returned to Leesburg in order to gain control over the town. The combined efforts of Mitch and Supergirl ended the rampage and Mitch was freed from the Rider's control. Rider then possessed Wanda Lee's corpse in an effort to repossess Mitch, but failed. Apparently, that meant the death of the spirit.
