OVERVIEW
Turnbull was an enemy of the bounty hunter Jonah Hex in late 19th century Wild West.
HISTORY
A plantation owner in Richmond Virginia, Quentin Turnbull watched his beloved son Jeb fight on behalf of the Confederacy during the American Civil War. Jeb fought alongside his best friend Jonah Hex, up to the point when Hex surrendered to Union forces. This led to the capture of Hex's fellow soldiers and many of their deaths at the Fort Charlotte Massacre in January 1863. Jeb was one of those killed and it was believed it was due to the betrayal of Jonah Hex.
For the rest of his days, Quentin Turnbull made it his mission to avenge his son and kill Jonah Hex. To this end, he hired or involved himself with many outlaws including the Chameleon and El Papagayo.
