Comment(s):
- This is the first appearance of Thunderbolt since the Crisis. : As well as the main story set in present-day London, there are also three sets of flashbacks:
- 25 years ago: the High Abbot learns of the death of the Varja, Peter is born, and his parents die
- 5 years ago: presumably shortly after the Crisis, Peter's encounters with Trydan and Green Lantern
- 1 month ago: TV interviews with Peter Cannon (in the US) and Cairo De Frey (in the UK), plus a conversation between Peter and Tabu
Synopsis: - Five years ago, Thunderbolt was badly injured by Trydan, and although he was rescued and given inspiration by Green Lantern, he gave up the life of a hero, becoming simply Peter Cannon. Now, having moved to London for a major exhibition, he finds himself in the middle of a hostage situation, and knows he must get back into action.
