HISTORY

A Lord of Order who manifested himself as a purple gem on the otherdimensional Gemworld. The gem was worn by Lord Amethyst, leader of the House of Amethyst, who ruled Gemworld for centuries. The Gemworld was relatively new, and Pantagones was not deemed signifigant enough to warrant a very powerful Lord of Order.

For a time, Pantagones merged with Lord Amethyst. While in Lord Amethyst's body, Pantagones fell in love with Lady Amethyst and sired the Princess Amethyst. This conflict within Pantagones' heart introduced chaos into the Gemworld.

Some time later, Lord Amethyst/Pantagones was slain by Dark Opal, an agent of Vandaemeon, Lord of Chaos. For years, Amethyst was unknowing of her legacy as a Lord of Order, and it was Doctor Fate that eventually revealed it to her.
