Orca started a crime spree in Gotham City, attempting to steal an invaluable diamond, the Flame of Persia, from rogue millionaire Camille Baden-Smythe. Although she had unselfish reasons for committing her crimes, the Batman was ultimately forced to stop her. Following their first encounter, Orca was missing, but later appeared as a prisoner in the Slab during the Joker’s "Last Laugh" riots.
She was killed by Tally Man II. - Detective Comics #819
