HISTORY

A serial killer hunting non-powered super-heroes, Onomatopoeia was known to have struck Virago in Philadelphia and Buckeye in Harrisburg, PA, before making an attempt on Connor Hawke. This brought the kiiler into conflict with Connor's father, Oliver Queen.

Onomatopoeia's pattern is to slay a number of new or otherwise relatively unknown heroes and heroines before going after the "bigger game." The Strobe, Phantom Jockey, the Ritz, Brother Black, Sky-Rider, Lady Justice, the Ringer, Bible Belt, Brawler, and the Washingtonian were among his victims.

Onomatopoeia later squared off against Batman. His wrist was broken in the fight, and he managed to escape by stabbing the Joker which forced the Dark Knight to choose between capturing the killer, or saving the Joker's life. Onomatopoeia retruned to his suburban home with his wife and kids under the guise of a business trip and injury while playing tennis.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Onomatopoeia is equipped with knives and firearms, and appears to have above-average hand-to-hand combat skills.
