HISTORY
Dana Dearden always was fascinated by the legends of gods and heroes. When Superman appeared on the scene, she transferred her fascination to him, collecting everything she could find about him. In time, this grew into an unhealthy obsession.
When an exhibit of ancient coins went on display at the Museum of Art, Dana was drawn to the power within them. She stole the coins and was endowed with godlike powers. Seeing herself now as a Super-Woman truly worthy of Superman, she was furious when the Man of Steel would not return her love and became one of Superman's most unpredictable foes. She eventually sacrificed her life saving Superman from a lethal attack from a gang of DMN-created monsters.
