HISTORY
Like fellow teammates in the Gardners of the Universe, Nocturn claimed to be his planet's greatest super-hero. After their Palindrordnilap leader, Gragapopdrinap, was critically injured the rivalries between Nocturn and teammates Lord Blaze and Stickfast threatened their mission on a wartorn planet. The arriving Guy Gardner, despite having no powers at the time, quickly flattened Nocturn and arguably proving to all he was indeed the leader.
The infighting was quickly forgotten as the team found themselves under fire by the native population. Once a pacifist species, something had caused the natives to gather atms and fight to the death against any and all. Noturn was critically injured in the battle. Attempting the regroup and retreat, the rest of the team could only watch in horror as the armed natives fired upon the defenseless Nocturn, killing the hero. [1]
