HISTORY
Claiming to be the greatest super-hero on his homeworld, Lord Blaze was selected by the commercial venture seeking Palindrordnilap as a member of the Gardners of the Universe. While on a mission to investigate a pattern of death and destruction in a distant sector of space their Palindrordnilap leader, Gragapopdrinap, was critically injured. Another Palindrordnilap, Ragadronilorp, arrived with Guy Gardner himself to assist on the mission.
Egos quickly flared with Blaze and other team members Nocturn and Stickfast vying for leadership, but Gardner put them in their places. The team was soon attacked by the native warriors with Nocturn being critically injured and then killed while defenseless. Himself injured, Lord Blaze could only watch as his comrade was brutally dispatched.
Boodikka of the Green Lantern Corps had also been sent to the planet by the Guardians of the Universe. Though she and Gardner were antagonistic towards each other, that changed once Gardner discovered the true threat, an alien race known as the Ophidians were secretly mesmerizing their victims, evoking the latent ferocity in their natures. The Ophidians would make their victims destroy themselves and they turned all against Gardner. [1]
Though outnumbered, Gardner was ultimately able to make his allies see the true threat, The OPhidians fled with Gardner and Boodikka in pursuit. The surviving natives were grateful to the Gardners of the Universe for their heroism and paid a handsome reward. Guy Gardner was able to his proceeds to pay off outstanding debts and sever his involvement with the team to return to Earth, The further adventures of the Gardners of the Universe and Lord Blaze in particular are not known at this time. Lord Blaze could create great amounts of heat and light. As his race and homeworld are not known, it cannot be said if Lord Blaze's powers are native to his race or distinct to him.
