Synopsis: - In the 1930s, gangsters looking for revenge catch up with Rabbi Rava. They beat him in an attempt to get him to reveal his friends. When he doesn’t they take him to Journey’s End Cemetery, where he dies. In the present day, the Monolith uses his powers to watch a priest slay what is apparently a vampire. Alice is interviewed for a job at a victims rights organization known as the New York Citizens Assistance Team. A beaten girl intrudes during Alice’s interview followed by her knife-wielding boyfriend. Alice and her boss, Tarion, subdue the boyfriend and turn him over to the police. Because she had a cool head under pressure, Tarion hires Alice. Elsewhere, Mafia thugs abduct an accountant who was embezzling funds from them and threaten to take him to Journey’s End.
