HISTORY

L’Ono Nero is a demon originally from Rome. It consumes the lives and souls of its victims and has the power to animate the dead. The Zavattini family struck a deal with it and the Mafia family the Roccoco’s in order to contain it. One male child of the family was assigned to guard it under the guise of a priest. Many of these tried to kill it, but they all failed. L’Ono Nero, along with the two families, immigrated to New York. It choosing to reside in a chapel in Journey’s End Cemetery in Brooklyn.

Eventually, a golem known as the Monolith fought it along with the current caretaker of the Zavattini family. In the battle that resulted, the chapel was damaged and sunlight poured in, weakening the creature. It was then killed when a heavy wooden cross fell on it.
