HISTORY

Carl Draper grew up in Smallville and fell in love with Lana Lang. Once fat, stupid, and ugly, Draper remade himself into a trim architect and locksmith. He designed the Mount Olympus prison facility to impress Lana, but Superman showed up and placed the prison on an anti-gravity platform. Instead of being called Draper's island, it became Superman's island which caused Draper to snap. As the Master Jailer, Draper kidnapped Lana and imprisoned Superman, but was defeated and placed in his own jail. He broke out the same day and began to menace Supergirl.
