HISTORY

Marata Rrab of Graxos IV was the Green Lantern of Sector 2815, a responsibility held by many members of her family. It is not known if Marata was preceded or succeeded by Santara Rrab. Presumably Marata died in the line of duty.

Marata Rrab is memorialized in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa. Later members of the Rrab family to become Green Lanterns included Fentara, Blish, and Arisia.

BLACK LANTERN: MARATA RRAB

During the event known as the Blackest Night, black rings desecrated the Crypts. The ring placed itself amidst her remains, downloaded her memories and created a duplicate of her body that rose from the grave as a member of the Black Lantern Corps to prey upon her daughter Green Lantern Arisia.
