- This story takes place during War of the Gods #2.
- The JLI charter is revoked in this story.
- Catherine Cobert's nightmare at the beginning of this issue and the references to Captain Atom being dead is a reference to the events seen in Armageddon 2001 #2. However, as this issue also ties into War of the Gods which had to take place prior to Armageddon 2001, the reference to Captain Atom's death must be regarded as a mistake or a reference to them believing him dead following the events of Captain Atom #54.
