Synopsis: - Flash and Green Lantern have been injured in their encounter with monstrous beings in the woods around Black Spirit Lake, and the rest of the JLA are called in to help them. It soon becomes apparent that there is more to the woman who survived the monsters' attack than meets the eye, and as the temperature drops, they are encountered again. They are able to injure Superman, though he destroys the one he encounters with a fireball. Meanwhile, unknown to the rest of the team, Wonder Woman has also been attacked and is undergoing a strange transformation.
