Synopsis: - More students at Manchester High experience distressing illusions. Impulse tries to get Max Mercury's help, but the elder speedster is concerned with the disturbances in the speed force and Impulse must investigate alone. He spots Shantay Williams and remembers seeing her when the previous students saw illusions. He then sees her twin Shanela (though he assumes it's Shantay again), who is petrified of his dog Dox. Shanela and Shantay have a show-down, illusions battling one another, until Impulse remembers Shanela's reaction to Dox and brings in all the town's dogs, which scares her rigid. He tells her that if she terrorises any more kids he'll be back with bigger, scarier dogs. Later, when he gets home, Helen is in tears, because Max has disappeared, sucked screaming into the speed force.
