- The identities of the arsonist and the murderer being pursued by the MCU detectives are not revealed until issue #5, and will not be indicated in the indexes until that point.
Synopsis: - The detectives of the Major Crimes Unit's second shift pursue two main cases - Driver and Chandler investigate the murder of Bonnie Lewis, originally thought to be a simple kidnapping, while Davies and Patton continue to look into an arsonist, believed to be Firebug. Driver and Chandler re-interview Bonnie's parents and the couple she babysat for and get no tangible leads, though they do learn that Bonnie was being bullied at school and that she befriended a homeless man in the local park. They are then called in to help when Davies and Patton encounter Firebug, but the arsonist escapes.
