HISTORY
Unlike the first villain of that name, the second Clayface was somewhat more than human. Accidentally coming across a potion which made his entire body malleable, he used his abilities to shape-shift his way to criminal gain, though he was repeatedly defeated by Batman. He was killed by a shadow-demon in the midst of the legendary Crisis.
