- "Knightfall" part 15, continued from DETECTIVE COMICS #665. When Bruce Wayne and Alfred depart for Santa Prisca, they leave Gotham in the hands of the new Batman, Jean-Paul Valley, who tries to lay a trap for Bane. Continued in DETECTIVE COMICS #666.
Synopsis: - Jean-Paul cuts a deal with 'Tough' Tony Bressi which will lead him to Bane, while Bruce Wayne searches for clues on who kidnapped Jack Drake and Shondra Kinsolving. Bane realizes that 'Batman' is a pretender, and knows that whoever this is, they don't pose a threat. Bruce tracks the kidnappers to Santa Prisca and sets off with an unexpected stowaway - Selina Kyle. Jean-Paul fashions some razor-sharp gauntlets for himself, and uses them to bring down Bird, Trogg and Zombie, but Robin is growing ever more concerned about his methods.
